Lern One

Behind this stand two people.
Not a corporation.

We tutored ourselves. We ourselves were fed up with juggling five tools at once just to run a single lesson well - so we built one place where it all simply works.

Oskar Skutnik

President of the Board

A math and physics tutor with four years of experience. Cut his teeth preparing students for the Matura and olympiads. He came up with the app out of his own huge frustration - he was fed up with juggling a paper schedule, messages from parents and chaos in his notes between lessons. One memorable day he told himself: 'Never again Excel' and... got to work on what you see here.

Where does the name "Lern"come from?

"Lern" is the English word "learn", from which we deliberately removed one letter. Why? Because for us it's not about perfection. It's about continuous growth and being on the way - we want everyone: student, teacher and tutor, to feel that they're simply working on themselves every day.

The missing "a" is the space for you. It's room for your own ideas, mistakes, moments of doubt and the search for new solutions. We believe this is exactly what real learning looks like - it's not a ready-made template, but an open space that each of us fills in our own way.

Discord won't remember the lesson's whiteboard.

Tutoring isn't an ordinary chat. It's writing formulas, drawing graphs and coming back to them a week later.

With us: Built-in online whiteboard with history - every lesson has its own permanent place.

Google Calendar won't issue your invoice.

Polish VAT and flat-rate tax are our daily reality. Clicking through foreign apps just to issue a document is a waste of time.

With us: Generating PDF invoices directly from the app, with one quick click.

Zoom doesn't know who your student is.

No lesson history, no progress tracking, no contact with the parent. After six months you're left with a folder full of recordings where nothing can be found.

With us: A clear student profile, progress tracking and a parent panel - all at hand.

Notion is a great database, but not a place to learn.

The student should focus on solving the homework, not on learning a complicated interface.

With us: An intuitive student panel in Polish - requires no manual.

Payment app won't chase up the transfer itself.

Billing should be a natural, stress-free end to the lesson, not a separate process.

With us: Built-in payments - you simply send a link, and the student pays for the lesson with BLIK.

App in English doesn't know our reality.

The Polish market deserves a dedicated tool. Taking our regulations into account, with local technical support.

With us: An app 100% in Polish, with the creators within arm's reach.
  1. "We're making our own thing!" - that is, enthusiasm and a wall.

The story started with Łukasz. He had the idea, there was energy and excitement. But after the first thrill came the classic: 'Okay… and what now?'. We were missing a second head to look at it from the side and put the puzzle together.

  2. A conversation at the university and Oskar joining in.

Łukasz mentioned to Oskar that he 'had a thing'. When Oskar saw the project, the excitement went off the scale. He just said: 'Man… this is awesome'. And so we dug in. We started doing it together.

  3. Hundreds of hours and +5 kg of pure love.

All-nighters, friends set aside for a while and tons of code. Often something didn't work, we got annoyed, but the goal was one: to kill the chaos of a million messengers and disappearing whiteboards. We did it for real.

  4. We build for ourselves. Testing on a live organism.

We didn't want yet another junk 'educational platform'. We built a tool we ourselves, as tutors, wanted to use. One place for tasks, materials and contact with the student. Tested on ourselves.

  5. We present our baby to you - Lern.one.

It's no longer just an idea tossed out between lessons. After months of hard work the site came to life. We released into the world a place where, without tricks and searching, you keep your entire tutoring base.

  6. No corporate talk, still with one goal.

We don't have 15 departments and coffee with soy milk for 30 zł. We're two buddies with one vision. The app is growing, genuinely helping, and we believe that online tutoring can look better. And this is only the beginning.
